BIRCHES EARLY LEARNING CENTRE

Location:

Beaconsfield

Client:

Birches Early Learning Centre

Description:

Birches Early Learning Centre is a 4500m2, state of the art, early learning centre in Officer.
The Birches site was originally a residential estate, thus being surrounded by an abundance of established trees, hedges and garden beds.

Initially ELS we contracted to complete major earthworks to remove existing plantations ready for development. This included but was not limited to: Fence, soil, garden bed and tree removal, general clearing and levelling.

Following this ELS were contracted to reshape the site according to plan, allowing for new garden beds, turf paths, a sensory garden, sand pits and a dry creek bed. This site also required the construction of large shade sails and interactive ‘tee-pees’.Birches required the installation of 800m2 synthetic turf and a recycled rubber ‘race track’ inspired path which makes its way around large open play areas.
